Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”, “Terms of Use”) carefully before using the https://stokelaptops.co.uk website (the “Service”) operated by Stoke Laptops (“us”, “we”, or “our”).
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.
6 Month Guarantee
Stoke Laptops offer a 6-month guarantee on all product sales and successful equipment repairs including but not limited to; Laptops, Games Consoles, Mobile Phones, and Software Installations.
Our 6-month guarantee does not cover accidents, theft, and damage caused by the owner of the property.
The 6-month guarantee is limited to equipment breakdowns and technical difficulties which occur naturally or due to mistakes made by Stoke Laptops technicians.
We offer all customers a free equipment diagnostic check and quote prior to service and on occasion does not recommend a repair. On the occasion in which a customer chooses to go against our advice regarding a repair, they agree to waive their right to the 6-month guarantee.
Repairs or replacements of products under warranty will be completed in store for free, however, callouts to personal addresses are chargeable at a flat rate of £10 per call out.
Concessions Discount
Stoke Laptops offer a 10% discount to Students, NHS Staff, Military Personal and Veterans on all products and services provided by us.
In order to qualify for the 10% discount, you must provide “Valid ID” which proves your status as either a Student, NHS Staff, Military Personal or Veteran. Unfortunately, if you cannot provide “Valid ID” we are not obligated to provide you with a 10% discount. Furthermore, the discount can only be used by the qualifying customer themselves and not on behalf of another customer.
The 10% discount can be used in conjunction with other offers up to a maximum discount of 25%.
For example, if there is a store-wide promotion of 10% off, qualifying customers will be able to stack their discount on top of this to receive a total of 20% off.
Discounts are calculated before a price match claim is processed and therefore you will not receive a further discount if you have a price match claim accepted.
Price Match
Although Stoke Laptops is confident that our repair costs are the lowest in the city, we are willing to offer a price match to any customer who can prove otherwise.
If you can provide evidence of a cheaper service elsewhere, we will not only match the competitor’s price but also offer a further 10% off.
Stoke Laptops take into account any discounts your order qualifies for before we process your price match claim.
We will only accept price match claims if the following are deemed to be true;
- The lower price is being charged by a business within the Stoke-On-Trent area.
- The lower price is still being charged by that business or was being charged no more than 7 days before the date of the claim.
- The price we are charging is still not the lowest even after all discounts have been accounted for.
Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Stoke Laptops and its licensors.
Links To Other Web Sites
Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Stoke Laptops.
Stoke Laptops has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Stoke Laptops shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such web sites or services.
We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party websites or services that you visit.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
Disclaimer
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchant-ability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.
Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is a material change we will try to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
